Inflorescence

In botany, the multiple clusters of flowers on a plant are referred to as an inflorescence of flowers. In this collection Rebecca combines her interest in three dimensional forms with her passion for the intriguing qualities that exist within Australia's native flora.  Focusing more specifically on the varying floral arrangements that occur on different plant species, Rebecca combines multiples of the same floral form in order to achieve varying structures that are similar, yet different to their natural counterparts

This collection originated from Rebecca’s exploration of the flannel flower, Actinotis helianthi.
